Mind if I add your blog to the ones I follow? - I like your sketches and Pilz is the name of the priest (first name Anders, a Dominican Tertiary) who was also my Docent in Latin (Docent is in German and Scandinavian Universities a title below Professor).
I really enjoy seeing others' first sketches for a book. There is so much life and fun showing in the linework in these, which is sure to follow on through to the colour work. Thanks for thinking to share your sketches.
