My daughter Laura and her pet snake Phil (see August 4 entry) are going to be in the new book I'm working on for Sterling. It's a book of hidden pictures puzzles with scenes of kids and their various pets. One scene called for a pet snake, so who else but Laura and Phil as models? This is the rough sketch.

Very cute, Marilee!! That is for a snake. ;) The daughter is adorable, of course but I'm not a fan of snakes. Although, I must admit your snake looks very friendly.
